Country Store…are you interested?
We are currently researching the idea of expanding our little roadside stand into a full time Country Store. We are eager to hear from the community as to the desire and interest in this venture. We would still offer the same farm fresh products, but add bulk food items, products from other local farmers–cheese, honey, maple syrup, jams, relish, etc. Anything small and from small local farmers nearby. We would offer frozen cuts of our farm raised beef and pork and possibly have a deli counter to sell lunchmeats, and spotlight fresh made sandwiches with our own meats such as: pulled pork, hot sausage, BLT’s and homemade soups.
Since this is such a huge project, we are going very slowly and are eager to hear from our customers as to their interest and possible support. Please leave your comments here, or feel free to email us with your thoughts.
The building would be small, and we would be on hand for questions and not operate on the self serve basis any longer. We are definitely excited about this, should doors continue to open and provide us the opportunity to accomplish this feat. Funding would be the major hurdle at this point, and any suggestions you might have concerning finding the funding, would be greatly appreciated.
