About Us

We are a small family-owned farm (3rd generation) located between Summit township and Waterford, Pa. We are currently celebrating our 11th year of offering you ALL NATURAL, direct from the farm products. With the HUGE demand for POT O GOLD milk and our products, we are prayerfully considering opening a full time country store with the same products you’ve come to enjoy, as well as add bulk food items and a small deli area.

HOW WE CAME TO DO THIS…
We’ve always had a garden and whether I was at home helping my mom can and freeze or married with a family of my own, carrying on the tradition, it’s just something we’ve always done.

In 1999 we had the opportunity to purchase the Duran Homestead, where we are now, which belonged to Blaine’s grandparents at one time. Since we now had a barn and out-buildings, my dad thought it was time to have some chickens and he bought me 25 hens. The extra eggs were sold from our home to neighbors and family. Blaine has almost always had pigs to raise. This was the first time we could raise them on our very own property.

Since then, we’ve grown to a much larger garden to supply our freezer and shelves with food that we know has no chemicals or harmful effects in it. I guess over the years we have even taken for granted the fact that we know where the majority of our food comes from, and have not had to buy beef, pork, eggs, or vegetables from the stores.

We began our “adopt a pig” program in 2008 and it seems to be what the communtiy desires. As well as buying all natural produce when it is in season, we can offer cage free brown eggs, beef and pork with no growth hormones, and share the benefits and blessings of eating food that has not been tampered with.

Very rarely do we offer you any product that was not produced right here on our small farm. We may have a selection of fruits from time to time from other local farmers, but we strive to provide you with the same quality as if we could grow it ourselves. We also work very hard at keeping our prices fair and reasonable.

Our goal is to try and represent Christ in whatever small way we can and set the example He would want us to without appearing as overly religious. We try to walk a humble and quiet walk and give Him all the credit for the blessings we receive from Him whether it be good health, a good harvest or a successful farm business.

We appreciate your loyal support over the years and the trust you place upon us.
