Brown Eggs

We have a flock of about 90 laying hens right now. Currently we are gathering between 4 and 6 dozen eggs per day. These hens are Golden Buff and Bard Rocks.  If the demand for these brown eggs remains high, we plan on renewing our flock every other year so that we can continue to supply the community.

The prices are as follows:

Jumbo: $3, Large: $2.50, Medium: $2.00

The eggs are kept in the same cooler that stores the milk from Pot O Gold Dairy. All are located inside the Amish built stand which is just up the driveway and next to the greenhouse. I ususally restock the eggs every day around noon. If for any reason you stop and we are out, you can leave your name and phone number and I will call you as soon as I have what you need. Usually the very next day. Or you can just stop back at your leisure.

  1. who would think there can actually be a difference in taste between grocery store eggs and farm-fresh eggs. after all, eggs are eggs, right? as long as you sell eggs, that’s where we will get them…..delicious!!!!
